Additionally, we offer evidence based hands on techniques in the area of Musculoskeletal, Sports & Orthopedics, Neurology, Pediatric, Cardiopulmonary, Women health Physiotherapy, Gait and pain management with inpatients rotational practice in collaboration with a tertiary care hospital.   

MANUAL THERAPY & MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSICAL THERAPY

Our expert physical therapists are highly qualified and possess excellent skills in the area of musculoskeletal and manual therapy practice. Musculoskeletal Physical therapy practice involves assessment and treatment of dysfunctions which affects muscles, joints, and soft tissues. In this practice many patients come with Neck, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Low back, Hip, Knee and Ankle pain or dysfunctions. We offer various techniques, exercise therapies and electro-physical modalities to manage cases in an integrated way.  

Manual therapy is the hands-on advanced 

branch of physical therapy which has many sub-divisions within the umbrella of manual therapy. Each has its own clinical indications based on assessment findings and depending on underlying problem. The main techniques of manual therapy are manipulation, joint mobilization, soft tissue release and neuromuscular techniques. 

Sports Physical Therapy

Sports physical therapy rehabilitation is a specialty within our musculoskeletal and manual therapy team which is devoted to assessing and treating patients with injuries related to sports or other types of exercises. Our team focuses on the parameter of performance and development of a sportsman in the context of their sports activity and is also involve in the management of sports related dysfunctions.
    

Neurological Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists offer comprehensive assessment and treatment to restore function level and refining overall quality of life in various neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Guillain Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic brain injury, Polyneuropathies and Spinal cord injury. Our physical therapists apply advanced treatment concepts such as Motor relearning, PNF and Bobath approaches as part of neuro-rehabilitation. 

Pediatrics Physical Therapy

We have highly trained Pediatric physical therapists who assess and treat patients in a holistic way and manage a wide range of congenital conditions and injuries such as children with delays in development, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Motor Neuron disease, muscles weakness or imbalance, and sprain/strain injuries due to sports activities.  Our team works with parents or other family members to achieve maximum rehab potential and to promote functional improvements n the children.       

Orthopedics Physical Therapy

Our Physical therapists have immense experience in the area of Orthopedics Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and play an important role in the preoperative and postoperative management of various types of arthroplasty surgeries such as shoulder arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty (THA) and knee arthroplasty (TKA) by aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes. Physical therapists are also involved in reducing pain or stiffness to restore range of motion, improve functional level and to reduce disability among patients with various types of fracture or injury.    

 

Women Health Physical Therapy

Our expert Physical therapists play a crucial role in pregnancy (prenatal), postnatal and obstetric care rehabilitation. Physical therapy related to woman’s health covers a wide range of conditions such as posture impairments, abdominal muscle imbalance or weakness, back pain, bladder or bowel problem, diastasis impairment of rectus abdominal muscle, pelvis or coccyx pain, reduced fitness levels / inactivity,  pelvic floor muscles weakness and urinary incontinence.  

Geriatric Physical Therapy

Our expert Geriatric physical therapy team offers evidence based rehabilitation program for a wide range of disorders related to the aged population such as falls, balance impairments, generalized weakness, arthritis or joints dysfunction, osteoporosis, cancer, Alzheimer’s/ dementia disease, incontinence and gait or functional disturbances, etc.

Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy

 

We have an expert team of cardiopulmonary physical therapists who are involved in assessing and treating patients with dysfunctions of the heart and lungs. The Cardiac Rehabilitation program at our cardiac gym focuses on personalized approach which helps to promote recovery with better outcomes through the use of advanced equipment including telemetry unit.

Clinical Training for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs in Physical Therapy 

Every physical therapy student enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs engages in our integrated clinical training through approved clinical education venues under the supervision of highly qualified faculties.   

House Job Program in Physical Therapy 

Our Institute graduates, who have obtained the 5 years Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree, will become Physical therapy House officers for the period of one year to gain hands-on clinical experiences under our expert faculty members in various areas of physical therapy practice.
