Psychological and Neuropsychological Assessments
The Department of Neuropsychology offers neuropsychological and psychological assessments for medical, neurological, psychological, developmental, learning, and behavioral concerns.
Services provided by the Neuropsychology department
Psychological Diagnostic evaluation for children and adolescents with brain disease or injury:
- Assessment of cognitive and behavioral status using neuropsychological tests.
- Recommendations for educational and behavioral support.
- Long-term follow-up of cognitive and behavioral outcomes.
- Neuropsychological interventions to support memory, learning, literacy, and attention disorders:
- Cognitive behavior therapy.
- Education and support about the impairments and needs of the affected young person.
- Liaison with multidisciplinary and community services.
- Consultation for health and educational professionals regarding case management in the community:
- Recommendations on case management and referral pathways.
- Attitude and aptitude testing
- Pediatrics development screening
- Neurological assessment
- Psychological evaluation
- Personality assessment
- Counseling
