RESIDENCY PROGRAM

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation’s Residency Program at SIPM&R  is dedicated to developing the future leaders of PM&R by providing broad-based comprehensive training in high-quality clinical care, research, and medical education across diverse aspects of our specialty.

This is a four-year program out of which 3 years are in the department and one year with rotation in different departments.

We have a structured program for rotational Post Graduate from Ortho, Peads, Neurology, Second fellowship stroke, and family medicine. This Post Graduate comes from Civil Hospital, Agha Khan University, and Dr. Ziauddin Hospital.

Program Aims

Educate a diverse group of residents by providing them access to a variety of complex rehabilitation patients under the guidance of engaged faculty and subspecialty experts to develop clinical skills to improve patient outcomes.

How to enroll yourself in Residency Program

The induction Examination is carried out annually in July; Candidates are selected based on their performance in written tests and interviews carried out by our faculty members. FCPS part 1 in the field of medicine or surgery is a prerequisite.
