ICRC and their copartner Rehab Initiative in Islamabad conducted training on Ankle Foot Orthosis in September 2022.

In January 2021 our students and staff arranged an awareness session regarding orthoses and prostheses in DJ. Sindh Government Science College.

Community-Based Rehabilitation program in Badin was conducted in collaboration with Sindh Government to provide ninety limbs to amputees in August 2020.

Orthosis and Assistive Devices were presented in the National List of Most Priority Assistive Products for Persons with Disabilities in February 2019 conducted at Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.

To create more understanding of the latest conservative treatment for scoliosis, a workshop was arranged describing the Prescription Principle of Charleston Bending Brace at the sixth International Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Conference 2019.

In 2019, The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation delivered forty-three limbs to the amputee in a camp arranged by the orthopedic department at Chandka Medical University, Larkana, Sindh.

 The community-Based Rehabilitation program in Larkana was conducted in collaboration with Sindh Government to provide thirty limbs to limbless people in January 2019.

Soft Insole Orthotic Project was presented in the 1st DUHS Academia Industry Linkage on May 2018, Karachi

 Therapeutic Ball Project was presented at the 4th All Pakistan DUHS Dice Health Exhibition on October 15th 2018.

The orthotics and Prosthetics stall was set up at D.U.H.S Dice Health Exhibition Karachi in October 2018.

Workshop and Seminars in April 2016 on “Recent Development in Healthcare for Cerebral Palsy: Implications and Opportunities for Orthotics” to guide the students and faculty about the possible treatment plan for Cerebral Palsy patients.

In 2016, one of our faculty got training in Ischial Containment Socket from TATCOT- Kilimanjaro, Africa.

 In 2015, one of our faculty members got training in Spinal Orthosis from TATCOT- Kilimanjaro Christian College, Africa to facilitate faculty students and patients in the department.
